Going the extra mile for the customer!

I recently contacted Dark Energy about a replacement ring and mounting tape as I bought a new case for my phone. They didn't have any spares but were kind enough to send me a complete kit which did have a ring and tape. Much appreciated folks, I'm back in business!

It works great. My wife charges her phone on it every night. The magnet holds the phone up well even with a case on it.

It’s okay,but…

I’m using this for an iPhone 12 with an otterbox case. Works fine but tho phone must be positioned ~3/8” higher than the base supports so it tends to slide down disconnecting the charge. This is a design flaw that could be remedied by making the bottom adjustable or by providing a spacer.

This is a common point of confusion on our Mavrik stands. The stand is actually designed to hold your phone up, not to lean against. The lip on the bottom is just an extra precaution to catch your phone in case your phone gets knocked off the magnet. While the magnet is plenty strong to hold up your phone, we’ve found that those really thick cases decrease the connection significantly. Sounds like this is what’s happening in your case. Thank you for your feedback! We will keep this in mind for future designs.
